Process Engineer- Heat Treatment (Based in Batam, Indonesia)
West (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of production operators to achieve departmental goals
Monitor and measure heat treat processes to ensure quality and meet customers' requirements
Quote heat treat processes for new products based on customers' requirements
Establish heat treatment processes for new products based on customers' requirements
Provide training to employees in heat treatment processes
Conduct periodic uniformity surveys of heat treat furnaces
Meet with shift leaders and help in planning and scheduling
Recommend and/or runs continuous improvement projects
Assist and/or develop PFMEA's, Control Plans and Work Instructions
Assist and/or lead problem solving teams
Follow job work instructions
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science or related fields
Must have experience in heat treating and knowledge of heat treat furnaces
Proficient in MS Office
Must be able to station in Batam
